Organization Landing Page

Every organization in Bookd automatically gets a landing page when you create your account. This page serves as a central hub where customers can view all your shop locations and choose where to book.

What is the Landing Page?

Your organization landing page is a public-facing page that:

 • Lists all your active shop locations
 • Allows customers to browse and compare your locations
 • Provides direct links to book at each shop
 • Updates automatically when you add or remove shops

Finding Your Landing Page

Your landing page URL follows this format:

https://yourdomain.com/org/[your-org-slug]

For example, if your organization slug is downtown-salon, your landing page would be:

https://yourdomain.com/org/downtown-salon

Your organization slug is set when you create your organization. You can find it in Settings > Organization Settings.

What's Displayed on the Landing Page?

The landing page automatically shows:

Active Shops Only

Only shops that are currently active and accepting bookings are displayed. Deactivated shops are hidden from the landing page.

Shop Information

For each shop, customers can see:

 • Shop name
 • Location/address (if provided)
 • Operating hours
 • Available services
 • A "Book Now" button linking to that shop's booking page

Automatic Updates

The landing page updates in real-time as you:

 • Add new shops
 • Deactivate shops
 • Update shop information
 • Change shop settings

How Customers Use It

Your landing page helps customers in several ways:

1. Location Selection

Customers with multiple nearby locations can compare and choose the most convenient shop.

2. Service Discovery

Customers can see what services are offered at each location before booking.

3. Direct Booking

Each shop has a "Book Now" button that takes customers directly to that shop's booking page.

Sharing Your Landing Page

Share your organization landing page to:

On Your Website

Embed or link to your landing page from your main website:

Book an Appointment

On Social Media

Share the link in your social media profiles:

 • Instagram bio
 • Facebook page
 • Twitter/X profile
 • LinkedIn company page

In Marketing Materials

Include the URL in:

 • Business cards
 • Flyers and brochures
 • Email signatures
 • QR codes

For Multi-Location Businesses

If you have multiple locations, the landing page is especially useful because:

 • Customers can see all locations at once
 • No need to maintain separate booking links
 • Easier to manage in marketing campaigns

Single Shop vs. Multiple Shops

If You Have One Shop

You can share either:

 • Your organization landing page: yourdomain.com/org/your-org-slug
 • Your shop's direct booking page: yourdomain.com/book/your-shop-slug

Both work perfectly fine for single-location businesses.

If You Have Multiple Shops

The organization landing page is recommended because:

 • Customers can choose their preferred location
 • One link works for all locations
 • Easier to update marketing materials
 • Better customer experience

Customization

The landing page design is currently standardized across all organizations. Custom branding and design options are planned for future updates.

While you can't customize the landing page design yet, you can control what appears by:

 1. Updating shop information - Keep shop details current
 2. Managing shop status - Activate/deactivate shops as needed
 3. Setting shop images - Add photos to make shops more appealing
 4. Writing clear descriptions - Help customers understand each location

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I hide the landing page?

No, the landing page is automatically generated for all organizations. However, you don't have to share it if you prefer to use individual shop booking links.

What if I only have one shop?

The landing page still works great! It will display your single shop with all its information. You can choose to share either the organization landing page or your shop's direct booking link.

How do I change my organization slug?

Your organization slug is set during account creation. To change it:

 1. Go to Settings > Organization Settings
 2. Update the Organization Slug field
 3. Click Save Changes

Changing your organization slug will change your landing page URL. Update all marketing materials and links accordingly.

Will deactivated shops appear on the landing page?

No, only active shops are displayed. When you deactivate a shop, it's automatically removed from the landing page.

Can customers book directly from the landing page?

Not directly. The landing page shows your shops and provides "Book Now" buttons that take customers to each shop's individual booking page where they can complete their booking.

Best Practices

Keep Shop Information Updated

Regularly update:

 • Operating hours
 • Contact information
 • Service offerings
 • Shop descriptions

Use Clear Shop Names

Choose shop names that help customers identify locations:

 • ✅ "Downtown Barbershop"
 • ✅ "Westside Salon"
 • ❌ "Shop 1"
 • ❌ "Location A"

Add Shop Images

Upload attractive photos of each location to make your landing page more appealing and help customers recognize your shops.

Monitor Active Status

Regularly review which shops are active to ensure customers only see locations that are currently accepting bookings.
